Tuesday 13^th February

The Boers started again about 7 o'clock this morning with their 100 pounder, they evidently intended to raise [sic - raze] Kbly to the ground.   Another shell went into the New Theatre, one into the Presbyterian Church damaging the organ.   Several have dropped by our old house, the people are still down the mines.   The people who go up to the market for their meat (all Horse) in a morning have to go very early 5 o'clock so as to get back home again before shelling commences.
